Stephen Smith
Business Owner
Stephen is the Director of Counseling at Overcomers Christian Counseling. He is a California licensed marriage and family therapist since 1983, and has been an ordained minister since age 15. He was a Chaplain assistant in the US Army, and served as a Deputy Sheriff in Santa Clara County California till retiring in 2005. He uses his extensive life experience, education, and spiritual gifts to help people overcome life difficulties and experience a more whole and happy life. His therapy approach is to help people move through problems quickly and completely with lasting results.

Stephen is a wonderful blessing and highly qualified counselor. I've been counseled by him several times over these past 5-6 months and have noticed a growth in my relationship with Christ. I've been counseled by Stephen throughout the past 8 years. Sometimes i need to see him once a week and sometimes several months go by without us talking. I always feel supported and never judged. He never pressure me into another appointment and always does his best to accommodate my next call for help with open, loving, and professional open arms. I can't say enough about how grateful for the impact that he has had on my life and my walk with Jesus Christ.
