​DONNA’S STORY
Coming to and walking with Christ

My word for my walk with God is “Adventure”.  It wasn't always that way, but over the years He has been so faithful in leading me where I wouldn't have gone and having me live "no eye can see, no ear can hear, no mind can possibly conceive what the Lord has planned."

I am a first generation American, my mom is from Naples Italy and had lost faith in the Church...feeling judged, unsafe and hopeless.  Growing up we went to church Easter and Christmas sometimes.  There was no talk of Jesus and God was definitely not shared as a loving God. There was only obligation and judgement.  I knew there was a God and got distracted by the new age movement for a time, but always seeking to know more.   

Fast Forward, my husband and I were constructing our dream home and a huge neighborhood battle ensued.  God had a plan and it was during a restraining order request we made that Mike called out to God to save us and that was the beginning of an amazing adventure to know God and Jesus...and the inspiration to start Hearts Landing Ranch a little over 5 years ago.

Hearts Landing Ranch

Hearts Landing Ranch is now an award winning ministry committed to building a community to reach families and their hurting youth.  We offer many events and equine assisted learning programs which matches abandoned and neglected horses with at risk youth to help them navigate healing and gain hope and positive life-long skills.  

We share the love of Jesus with one child or over a thousand people who attend a family movie, worship night, Christmas tree giveaway or other outreach event.
