BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY:
|
Meeting more needs is the heart of every mission. Building a bigger ministry, raising more money, hiring additional staff, is the most common approach to achieving growth, but private labeled franchising may well be the future.
Think “Visa” for a moment. Visa partners with companies to provide card services. You can have a Wal-Mart, Union Bank, even United Airlines Visa card. In each case both Visa and the individual company benefit from the service to the public. Ministry entrepreneurs should consider adopting a similar approach to “Para-Church Ministry” growth. A local ministry designed to help teen moms could open chapters in key churches throughout the country. “First Baptist Church Teen Mom Connection” could benefit form the experience, training, and ongoing partnership with a team specializing in this single service. It would be a local church ministry equipped and supported by a regional or national partner. Not every ministry is easily duplicated, but many are and what an impact that could have. |
