CHRISTIANITY IN AMERICA IS IN DECLINE

Only 6 percent of Americans possess a Biblical worldview, according to a new survey...

The survey asked 51 worldview questions that examined both what people believe and how they conduct their lives.

Based on the survey, the following groups agreed with a biblical worldview:

• 20% of those who attend evangelical Protestant churches
  
• 19% of those who identify as “Born again Christians
  
• 16% of those who attend charismatic or Pentecostal churches
  
• 8% of mainline Protestant churches
  
• 1% of Catholics

The fact that not quite 20% of even born again adults hold a biblical worldview highlights the extensive decline of core Christian principles in America over the last several decades.
